Orla Kiely | Fall 2014

I have to say that Orla Kiely is most definitely my favorite designer. Her quirky prints, 60s silhouettes, and high quality fabrics keep bringing me, and many other fans, back season after season. (not that I actually own anything, because it's all way out of my price range, but one day, guys, one day!)

This season's collection, which was inspired by Catherine Deneuve in Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, looks like it was plucked right off the set of a Wes Anderson movie. The coats are to die for and I'm in love with that daisy shift dress and cat sweater. The styling by Leith Clark shows off her quirky personality in a very subtle way and the chunky T-strap heels by Clarks are the perfect, sensible shoe for fall.

I'm definitely going to be searching thrift stores come fall for vintage versions of pieces like these. (or maybe I'll just take out a personal loan and buy the whole collection.)
